I’d been tied up down there for a couple of days when she came down to drag me upstairs, still bound. Then, she took a long tube and shoved it up my ass, forcing it deeper, and then I felt a huge, prolonged rush of water as she washed all my bowels out, muttering about how she couldn’t serve Master a foul dish. She tied me up, next, with my legs curled under me, and my arms curled alongside my body like chicken wings. I thought surely she’d put me in the oven whole, but I was wrong. She pulled a big block of wood out and put it under my throat, pulling my head as far from the rest of my body as she could. I hardly saw the gleam of the blade…
